Thin-wall Reaction Tubes
Thin-wall polypropylene affords excellent thermal transfer

These thin-wall polypropylene tubes are the best choice for use with
MJ Research® thermal cyclers.   They are designed to fit
precisely in MJ Research heat blocks and feature extremely tight
sealing caps.   Samples as small as 5µl can be run with confidence
using a Hot Bonnet™ heated lid.   Furthermore, the MJ Research
          DNA Engine® calculated
temperature control is calibrated specifically for use with these
tubes.   Tubes and caps are available individually or in strips of
eight or twelve.   Low-profile Strip Tubes are available in strips of
eight, and are recommended for use in DNA Engine
          Opticon® continuous fluorescence detection systems.

All reaction tubes and plates are manufactured and packaged in
clean room environments, and process-sampled and tested negative for
          DNase, RNase, and human DNA.

          0.5ml Individual Tubes
Double-locking caps prevent "popping" open while cycling

0.5 ml tubes can be easier to handle than the smaller 0.2ml tubes, and
still effectively thermal cycle small reaction volumes.   Frosted flat
caps are easy to label, and the double-locking feature prevents them
from "popping" open during thermal cycling.   These tubes are also
available in an array of colors.

New packaging provides 0.5ml tubes in convenient
resealable pouches of 100 tubes, which protects unused tubes from
          contamination.
MJ Research sample blocks with 60, 30, or 16 wells use
          0.5ml tubes.

Double-locking caps prevent "popping" open while cycling.

0.2ml tubes are offered in various formats: with attached flat caps,
with attached domed caps, and without caps.   Tubes without caps are
available in a variety of colors, and can be sealed with

          Sealing Caps.   Tubes with
tight-sealing attached caps have a double-locking feature, so they
resist "popping" open during thermal cycling.

          The

Easy Cap™ tool should be used to
properly seat the domed caps.   Thin-wall 0.2ml tubes can be
          centrifuged if supported in a

Tube Rack, which is also handy for
          reaction set-up and storage.
MJ Research sample blocks with 96, 48, or 25 wells can
          use 0.2ml tubes.

Note: If using flat-capped 0.2ml tubes in the MJ Research
          MiniCycler® instrument, we
          recommend use of adapter plate

          ADR-0153 for optimal sealing

          Strip Tubes
Tight sealing and convenient handling for multiple samples

Strip tubes allow convenient handling of multiple samples, and can be
cut for use with fewer samples.   These are available in a variety of
colors, and in formats of eight or twelve tubes per strip.   Strip
tubes can be easily sealed with domed or flat
strip caps.   For added convenience when performing large
          numbers of reactions, Microseal®'A'
film can be used to seal tube arrays.   Recommended reaction
          volumes are 5µl to 125µl.

          0.2ml Low-profile
          Strip Tubes
Less dead air space for reduced condensate formation, better
          sealing
Recommended for use in DNA Engine Opticon real-time systems

The lower profile design reduces the potential for condensate
formation and offers advantages for light capture in fluorescent
assays.   The low V-well tubes can be supported in MJ Research

96-place racks and still provide the
low clearance needed to fit in some microplate readers.   Overall
height in rack when topped with optical flat caps is 18.3mm.

Low-profile tubes are available in strips of eight and
come in natural color, opaque white, and opaque black.
The white tubes strips are ideal for optical assays
where increased signal is desired.   The black tube strips are
effective vessels for fluorescence polarization work.   In combination
