Thank you for choosing ValueWeb to host your Web site.
Our goal is to provide you with the latest tools, unparalleled reliability and the
very best in support. To get your site up and running as quickly and easily as possible,
please take few moments to view the tips below.
Note:
New domain requests take 2 to 4 days for InterNIC to process. The transfer of an existing
domain will take 5 to 7 business days. If you're moving an existing domain name to ValueWeb,
you need to advise your domain registrar of ValueWeb's nameserver information. That process
is a snap with our Easy Transfer Wizard
(click here). Until your domain resides on the
ValueWeb servers, you may temporarily access your Web site through your IP address,
207.36.121.12. Be sure to use
www.genetictechnologiesinc.com once it becomes available on our
servers.

Getting Started
Visit our Getting Started section which provides a wealth
of information on how to set up your Web site.
Uploading Your Pages
Using the FTP client of your choice, connect to www.genetictechnologiesinc.com (or 207.36.121.12
until your domain is active), and login with your username and password. Once logged in, you will be
in the document root directory of your Web site - this is where you should place your default page
(index.html). If you have any scripts, change to the "cgi-bin" directory and upload them there. If you
wish, you may create sub-directories and place documents in them as needed.
